This is your spot for quick answers about Grub Street.
What the heck is Grub Street?
Grub Street is Towson University's Literary & Arts Magazine! We are a class and a club, join us!
Where can I find a copy of Grub Street?
Grub Street magazine racks are located many places on campus: the Linthicum Hall lobby, second floor entrance of the University Union, the lobby of Enrollment Services, and the entrance of Hawkins Hall to name a few. Let us know if you spot an empty rack so we can fill it!
I can't take ENGL414 or 415, can I still be a part of GS?
Yes! This year we are excited to introduce a club that extends outside of our class. Grub Club meetings are generally held every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 in Linthicum 214. Please feel free to join us at any time to workshop! You may also attend any of our events. Grub Street is a great way to meet new people and make friends, it's a lot more than just a class and we want to be able to open it up to everyone. If you are interested in joining the club, please enroll yourself in our Blackboard Community!
Who can submit to Grub Street?
Anyone is welcome to submit! You do not have to attend Towson University.
How do I submit to Grub Street?
We have an easy submission form that you can fill out, or you can email your submissions to grubstreet1952@gmail.com. Please include the type of submission (poetry, prose, art) in the subject line. Attach your submission and be sure to include your name and preferred contact email.
How will I know if you received my submission?
If you use the form on our website, the 'thank you' page will ensure that the submission went through properly. If there is an error, you may contact us. If you choose to email your submission not using the form, we will send you a confirmation email.
When do I find out if I'm going to be published?
We will not know which submissions make it to the magazine until after our spring submission deadline. This will be sometime after Febuary 2010.
