There are a number of ways to get involved with Grub Street!
Grub Street's Club
We are excited to extend Grub Street as a club, outside of the class. We realize that there are many students who would like to be a part of Grub Street, but have been unable to because of scheduling conflicts or enrollment capacity. We want to provide these students with the chance to still be a part of the magazine, review submissions, interact with other student writers and artists, participate in our events, and fundraise. The Grub Club meets every Tuesday at 5:30 pm Linthicum Hall (Room 214). Students are welcome to join at any time! Search for Grub Club on Blackboard under the Community tab.
Grub Street Poetry Orgies
The largest events Grub Street holds are the infamous poetry orgies. Do not be alarmed by the name! These are readings where everyone is invited to come read their work. You do not have to attend Towson University to participate in this event. If you are not interested in reading work, you can always just come to listen! We always have a welcoming crowd and plenty of free food! For more information about our upcoming orgies please continue to check our events page.
Submit Your Work
Grub Street wants to represent the voice of Towson's campus and the surrounding area. We cannot do that without submissions. Our purpose is to showcase the artistic and literary talent of our area, everyone is encouraged to submit! We accept artwork, prose, and poetry. You can submit your work to be reviewed for publication here.
