Waiver applications must be submitted online for the first semester in attendance and every Fall Semester thereafter by the waiver deadline.   To see the minimum standards required to waive the Towson Student Health Insurance Plan, click here:

The deadlines for Student Health Insurance Waiver Applications are:  Fall Term - Sept. 15; Spring Term - Feb. 15 and Summer term - June 15. No waiver applications will be accepted and no insurance refunds will be granted after the deadline. Paper applications will not be accepted.

         Go to

         Go to Student, Click Find Your School

         Type Towson University

         Search for Towson University

         Click "Medical Plan: Enroll/Waiver"

         Scroll down to, "Waive International Students: Aetna Student Health Plan"
