Emergency Contraception

You have 5 days (120 hrs) to avoid pregnancy! Emergency contraceptive pills ("ECPs") are available by prescription for women who have had unprotected intercourse within the past 5 days. ECPs are used when:
You and your partner did not use contraception
Your contraceptive might not have worked for any reason (condom broke, missed pills, etc.)
You were forced to have sex
To receive ECP's, call the Health Center at 410-704-2466 for an appointment.
