  Scott Susong-Prop Designer

As an actor, director and designer, Scott Susong has worked and studied throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Southeast Asia.  Scott is the Artistic Director and Executive Producer of Curtain Call Productions LLC, a production company dedicated to the development and production of new theatrical works like Heartfield. 

After relocating from New York, NY, in 1998--Scott made his Baltimore-directing debut with The Pajama Game at the Center for The Arts, mainstage at Towson University.  Among his directing credits is a non-traditional film-noir version of  Antigone (DVT), Kander & Ebb's masterpiece Cabaret (DVT), Spalding Gray's Rivkala's Ring (UTEP), and the original revue, Gone On Gershwin (AHDT). Scott has also directed the large-scale passion play, The Promise in Florida, and collaborated on Our Country's Good with Diane Sadak(TU).

Scott also worked on The Good Person Of Setzuan with Ed Hamilton (UTEP) and She Stoops to Conquer with Dr. David Crawford (TJC). Scott's performance background embraces more than 50 plays and musicals including the international tour of The Sound of Music.

Scott holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Texas at El Paso, and is currently finishing an M.F.A. in Theatre at Towson University.

His next project is directing and designing The World Goes Round: The Songs of Kander & Ebb for the Maryland Arts Festival in July, 2000.  He will be directing and designing Lindbergh Baby Kidnapped! by Kenneth Vega at the Theatre Project in February, 2001.
