Have you ever wondered what the role women
play in the different faiths? Have you ever been confused about the style of
dress that women of different faiths wear or why they wear it? Have you ever
been conflicted about the status of gender equality in the different faiths?
Come hear women of faith talk about their views from their own perspectives. We will have a panel made up of Towson faculty, staff, and students talk about how they form their own identities as women of faith.

Absolutism, Relativsim, and Pluralism: How can Jews, Christians, and Muslims live together in the Global Village?
In celebration of Religious Appreciation Week at Towson, you are invited to a presentation by Rabbi Irving Greenberg, former Chair of the United States Holcaust Memorial Council, preeminent scholar and renowned author on interfaith relations on Thursday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the University Union, Chesapeake Room I. Rabbi Greenberg's talk entitled, "Absolutism, Relativism, and Pluralism: How do Jews, Christians and Muslims live together in the global village?" is sponsored by the Interfaith Campus Ministers Association, Office of Diversity Resources and the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies.

Purim
Purim begins Monday night March 13th. We have several options for you. Goucher is hosting both an egalitarian and a traditional Megillah reading. We will also have carpools going to Baltimore for Megillah readings and Purim parties. More information to follow, please share with us your Purim preferences and plans.
Passover
Hillel is your home for seders and Passover meals. If you are planning on attending a seder with Towson Hillel, please let me know as soon as possible.
