Alhena Gadotti earned her PhD in Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins University for her 2005 dissertation, “Gilgamesh, Enkidu and the Netherworld and the Sumerian Gilgamesh Cycle.” She is currently working on an edition of the Sumerian composition known as “The Regulations of the School (Eduba R)” in collaboration with Dr. A. Kleinerman.
