Honors College Independent Study

Research Experience in Exercise Science
12 hours per week: 3 credits

What: Exercise training study with low vision and blind adults

When: Spring 2008

Why: Increase accessibility of health promotion and practice among blind and vision impaired
Examine impact of self paced exercise training on mental and physical health

Requirements:

• detail oriented
• able to work independently
• available for early morning data collection M,W, F
• available for afternoon research meetings
  
  

Preference:

• Background/understanding of exercise science
• Those with an interest in a year-long research experience
