Hello! I am Jayson Schablik and I am the Assistant Director of Residence Life for the Towsontown area of campus. I've been lucky enough to call Towson University home since 2009. In my role here, I supervise the Residence Life Coordinators (RLCs) for Prettyman/Scarborough, Newell/Richmond and Residence Tower. In addition to those RLCs, I also work with three Graduate Assistants working to improve the on campus living experience of the students in our area. In addition to my area responsibilities, I also chair the Residential Engagement Committee (REC) where we strive to improve our student engagement experiences on campus through in-hall opportunities and large scale events. Another primary focus of my committee is using assessment to determine the success of our engagement model and making corrections as necessary.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and World Business from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville (Go Vols!) and a Master's of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Delaware.
I enjoy working at Towson because we have a wonderful group of students who want to make a positive impact on the campus and the world around them. In addition to the wonderful students, our department truly focuses on each and every student and uses that as our driving motivation in everything we do.
