Hello, my name is Laura Jo Rieske and I am the Residence Life Coordinator for Richmond and Newell Halls, which include the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Scholars and the SAGE (Students Achieve Goals through Education) Residential Learning Communities. I have been at Towson since July of 2014. I am originally from New Jersey, where I completed my undergraduate work at William Paterson University in Mathematics and Secondary Education. Before moving to Towson, I earned my Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While at IUP, I worked as a Graduate Residence Director in the Housing & Residence Life department. This experience helped set the foundation for my passion for working with college students. As a professional, I value students' growth and development, the positive energy they bring to my work, and the diverse beliefs and experiences that they bring to our community. As an RLC, I am committed to providing an excellent experience to the residential students at TU. I love Towson University because I am in an atmosphere where I am encouraged to continually learn and grow.
