Freshmen and Transfer Housing – Spring 2010

Freshmen and Transfer students have two housing options starting December 1, 2009.

1. University Housing (managed by Towson University – Housing & Residence Life)

University housing for freshmen and transfer students is limited and not guaranteed. Housing contracts and deposits will be accepted on a space available basis.

For University Housing you must complete the online process. This includes a $350 non-refundable housing deposit* and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the housing contract. Once admitted to the university, you will need to activate your Tiger account in order to login to the Online Housing Request. (It normally takes 1-2 business days, after Tiger account activation, before you can login). Once in the gateway, you will be required to pay the $350 non-refundable housing deposit, agree to the terms and conditions of the contract for the spring 2010 semester and request other housing options. After having completed the online process, a confirmation will be mailed to you confirming your housing for the 2010 spring semester. If you prefer to have a packet mailed to you, please call Housing & Residence Life at 410-704-2516, once you have been admitted.

*Financial Aid does not cover the housing deposit for first-time students.

2. West Village ( managed by Capstone Properties)

Paca and Tubman Houses are managed separately by Capstone Properties and you will need to refer to their website for specific dates and sign-up information.

University Housing and West Village are two separate housing options – do not apply or pay deposit to live in both areas as neither of these deposits is transferable or refundable. Call Housing & Residence Life at 410-704-2516 if you have ANY questions prior to paying deposit.
