Community Center Managers are very important in helping insure that our staff are sufficiently supported to best perform their roles. Position Information

Qualifications to Apply:

  • Must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Must be a resident student living in either University Housing, Paca/Tubman Houses or Millennium Hall for 2014-2015 (Housing deposit must be paid)
  • Must not be on student conduct probation
  • May not be a Resident Assistant for 2014 – 2015 academic year
  • This position not eligible for work study
  • Must be in second semester as a Community Center Assistant at time of applying

Student Employee Job Expectations

  • Return early in August & January to serve on shift and prepare Community Center Desk for opening
  • Propose a training session for Community Center staff trainings (Must present if selected)
  • Aid in hiring, supervision, and evaluation of Community Center Assistants
  • Make and keep all schedules for Community Center
  • Assist in the facilitation of monthly Community Center staff meetings
  • These expectations are in addition to all those of a Community Center Assistant
  • Other duties as assigned
