The Assistant Coordinator and Graduate Assistant positions deliver the opportunity to develop strong personal and professional skills by gaining knowledge beyond what a structured classroom can provide. An assistantship through Housing and Residence Life allows individuals to hone their leadership and administrative skills necessary for careers in Student Affairs or other fields after graduation. The Department of Housing & Residence Life offers a limited number of graduate assistantships each year to qualified students; these assistantships vary in responsibilities and compensation. The Selection and Development committee makes every effort to match graduate assistants to work that complements their studies, interests, and skills.
