Housing Assignments

Housing assignments for all new students are made on a random basis. We cannot honor requests for a specific room, type of room, building, suitemates or location of a room within a building.  Assignments are made throughout the summer and housing assignment information and important move-in instructions will be sent via your Towson email address in mid-August. Included in your assignment email will be the following important information:

  Your residence hall assignment 
  Your roommate(s) name (s), phone number(s) and TU email address(es)

Arrival information and move-in schedule for the Fall move-in process

Once assignments are emailed to all students, a room freeze will be in affect and no room changes will be considered until two weeks after classes begin.  This room freeze is necessary for us to assure all students have moved-in as scheduled and also allows students the time needed to begin developing a positive and healthy relationship with their roommate(s).
