In keeping with the mission of Housing & Residence Life, policies have been created and are enforced for the benefit of all residents. Each policy was created with at least one of the following priorities in mind.
Local state and federal laws must be upheld in the residence halls
The safety and security of all residents need to be protected
Each student has the right to sleep and study in their home environment
We live in an environment where community needs are important
We understand that at times students will test the policies and have a process in place to provide intervention, accountability and education. We have a strong belief in a developmental process, and therefore strive to provide students with the opportunity and information, which will allow them to correct their behavior.
The first, and possibly most important, step in the conduct process is to know and understand the policies.
