Request Housing
To be guaranteed university housing, students must complete the online process and pay the housing deposit by May 1, 2008; 5:00 p.m. ET.
Transfers- Transfer students are not guaranteed on-campus housing and a limited number of spaces will be available.
Housing contracts will be offered on a space available basis (after May 1, 2008) once availability has been determined. Transfer students will be contacted if they are being offered a housing contract. Students interested in living on-campus should call Housing & Residence
Life to be placed on a interest list, once admitted to the university.
Freshmen Housing - You have two housing options: University Housing and West Village.
Regardless of your housing choice, new freshmen for Fall 2008 are guaranteed on-campus housing if they complete either of the online housing requests (University Housing or West Village) by 5:00 p.m.(EST) May 1, 2008. If prior to May 1, the demand for either housing option is greater than the availability of space, one of the options may no longer be available.
After May 1, students will only be able to apply for on-campus housing on a space available basis.
For University Housing you must complete the online process. This includes a $350 non-refundable housing deposit and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the housing contract. Once admitted to the university, you will need to activate your Tiger account in order to logon to the Housing Request Gateway (It normally takes 1-2 business days, after tiger account activation, before you can login). Once in the gateway, you will be required to pay the $350 non-refundable housing deposit, sign the housing contract for the academic year 2008/2009, and request other housing options. After having completed the online process, a confirmation post card will be mailed to confirm your housing for the 2008/2009 academic year. If you prefer to have a packet mailed to you, please call Housing & Residence Life at 410-704-2516 -once you have been admitted.

Only apply for one of the two housing choices. The fee paid to either University Housing or West Village cannot be transferred or refunded.
