The Division of Innovation and Applied Research serves as a point of entry for businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and community members interested in collaborating with the University.
Formed in 2004, the Division includes a team of 70 expert researchers, technologists, and outreach professionals who, drawing upon their diverse strengths, experience, and unique approaches to problem-solving, create customized solutions that are focused on solving the critical issues facing Maryland's workforce and economy.
