Jeremy Monn, GIS Specialist, joined CGIS in 2003 as a graduate assistant, and has worked as a GIS Specialist since 2005. He configures, deploys, and maintains map, image, geoprocessing, and geocoding services using ArcGIS Server that are used in various web mapping applications. He works closely with co-workers and clients to identify, research, and implement data processing automation techniques utilizing various technologies, including Python, ETL, and ArcGIS Model Builder. He lead the CGIS portion of the effort to create and maintain the State of Maryland's composite address locator. He also provides on-site data management support to MDTA's Google Earth Enterprise Fusion application, publishing internal and public Google Earth globes that allow agency users to visualize and retrieve data pertinent to the agency's mission. He is currently an adjunct instructor with Towson University's Department of Geography and Environmental Planning where he teaches Introduction to Map Interpretation. Mr. Monn earned his MA in Geography and Environmental Planning at Towson University (summa cum laude) and his BS in GeoEnvironmental Studies at Shippensburg University.
