Cisco remains the industry standard for information technology equipment and networking. In 2010, we established the Towson University Regional Cisco Academy to provide training support to Maryland and the District of Columbia. In 2011 we were recognized by Cisco as the regionís first Academy Support Center and Instructor Training Center, receiving an Innovation Grant from Cisco to support projects leveraging technology for quality remote support, development and leadership in the industry. Currently we provide Cisco approved training support to educators and corporations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Currently, there are 37 programs aligned with our Center and we offer training and services to thousands of individuals within the region.
