Jeff serves as the Director of the Center for Professional Studies (CPS) within the Division of Economic and Community Outreach at Towson University. As Director, he is responsible for managing a dynamic team dedicated to meeting the diverse educational and consultation needs of clients regardless of their location. CPS is uniquely positioned to partner with corporations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, military, small business, and other enterprises throughout the area to provide professional consultation, customized training programs, and hosting services for a full range of events and activities. Additionally, CPS is dedicated to identifying industry driven professional credentialing and training opportunities for adult learners.
Jeff brings a number of years of experience at both the state and federal level focusing on the development of corporate and government partnerships, grant management and workforce development programs. Most recently, Jeff was the Director of the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program, and prior was Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning at the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Jeff has worked for the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services and as an aid for Senator Barbara Mikulski. Proudly, Jeff is a two-time graduate of Towson University, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and his Master's Degree in Social Sciences
