After a 38-year career as a Baltimore County Public Schools educator, Nancy continues to use her instructional skills and experience to support the Cisco Networking Academy program in dual roles as Co-Director of the MSDE IT Affiliate and Curriculum Lead of the Cisco Academy Training Center. Building a community of Cisco educators, and crafting the professional development to support it, are two of Nancy's primary concerns.
Having promoted technology integration as a librarian at Eastern Technical High School, a resource teacher with the BCPS Department of Technology, Secondary Specialist for the BCPS Office of Instructional Technology, and finally as a classroom Cisco instructor, Nancy brings a wide range of experiences to CPS and its Cisco Academy. She holds an MLA from Johns Hopkins and M.Ed. From McDaniel College; Cisco honored her with the 2008 National Academic Rigor Award. One of her most-treasured awards, however, is her selection as the 2007 Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.
