The Office of IT Services offers two options for Managed Hosting service, providing the highest levels of support and availability in the industry: Dedicated Servers and Virtual Servers.
Services on Client-Owned Hardware
We offer managed hosting on both physical and virtual servers powered by redundant UPS systems.
Each server has its own independently licensed copy of Windows Server. It can be rebooted independently by you, can be managed with Terminal Services/Remote Desktop, and has its own System Registry, Applications and System Files.

Services on DDC-Owned Hardware
We utilize VMware ESX on DELL Enterprise Servers for all virtualized servers, assuring enterprise functionality and stability for all virtual server clients.
Each server has its own independently licensed copy of Windows Server. It can be rebooted independently by you, can be managed with Terminal Services/Remote Desktop, and has its own System Registry, Applications and System Files. Servers perform and operate exactly like stand-alone dedicated servers.
Virtualization is performed using VMware ESX Enterprise Edition (The Virtualization Standard)
Each Virtual Server has its own Licensed Copy of Windows Server
VMware High Availability (HA) and VMotion functionality available
