Biography

Brian has worked as a Systems Engineer II for OITS since 2010. From 2007-2010 Brian was a Systems Specialist with CGIS. He currently manages the hosting infrastructure for OITS including Microsoft Active Directory domains, VMware virtual environment, and SAN storage.

Brian has worked extensively on the MDiMap project for the Department of Natural Resources, the Chesapeake Science and Security Corridor, and the Geographic Information Office providing support for Windows, IIS, SQL Server, ArcGIS Server, and Flex applications. He virtualized all CGIS servers in 2010 before migrating to separate domains in the OITS environment last year.

Brian earned his AS degrees in Computer Sciences and in Mathematics at Harford Community College. He has CompTIA certifications for A+, Network+, and Security+. His Microsoft certifications include MCSA 2000, MCDST, MCSA 2003, MCITP:SA, MCSA 2008, MCITP:EA. He is also VMware certified as VPC5-DV.
