Omar Robertson is a Senior Network Engineer. He has been employed with the DECO Data Center, formerly known as RESI, since January 2011. His job duties entail managing the network, troubleshooting and supporting network issues and network infrastructure design. Most recent project was the migration of all critical network equipment over to the new Core Switches (Catalyst 4500s). This required the logical design of network components and the configuration of all critical devices involved.
Omar has been in the IT field for the last 11 years. He began his career as a Systems Engineer after attaining his MCSE and then moved on to becoming a Network Engineer after becoming Cisco Certified. He has worked on multiple network migrations as well as helped build, maintain and design logical networks for previous employers.
Omar Robertson has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Computer Science from Morgan State University. He also holds professional certificates with both Microsoft and Cisco. Those certificates include an MCSE, MCP+I, CCNA, and a CCNAV for Voice.
