Biography

Matt is a Systems Engineer II for OITS. He has worked with the Maryland Emergency Management Agency, Maryland Department of Agriculture, Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation, Maryland Transit Administration, and the Maryland Department of Transportation. Matt works on a variety of tasks including virtualization, ArcGIS for Server planning and implementation, Microsoft SQL Server installation and configuration, Microsoft Windows Servers configuration and troubleshooting. Specifically with MEMA, Matt contributed Systems support to the OSPREY project, configuring Microsoft IIS web servers, deploying flex-based web applications, and supporting MEMA in troubleshooting the ArcGIS infrastructure.

Matt has over 7 years of experience working in IT. He has experience with VMware Virtualization, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and later, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, ArcGIS for Server 10 and 10.1, Active Directory, and DNS.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University. He possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and provides outstanding customer service to clients. He has Microsoft professional certifications in Active Directory, Network Infrastructure, Windows 7, and Applications Infrastructure.
