Biography

John has been with OITS since October 2012. He has worked with the Maryland Association of Counties and the Maryland Municipal League, supporting their network environments.

With over 12 years of network and systems administration knowledge, John has extensive experience in all phases of network administration and support. He is skilled in the use of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, 2003, 2008, all modern Microsoft client operating systems including; Windows 95/98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Active Directory, iOS, Android, Blackberry, and Cisco network products. This coupled with a wide range of experience in servicing different many different types of business clients has allowed John to be successful in many different roles working in internal IT departments and as a consultant.

John completed an Associates of Applied Science degree in Information Systems Security in July 2012 and is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Information Systems at University of Maryland Baltimore County. John obtained an A+ certification (computer service technician) from CompTIA in February, 2004.
