Biography

Bill Hansman has been employed with RESI since 2008. While he is currently on the Business Analysis and Management team he serves as both a Senior Project Manager and Technical Analyst on a variety of projects. Bill has managed projects for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as well as a joint effort conducting a Business Impact Analysis for Montgomery County with the University of Maryland's Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS). In addition he has been involved in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, developing pricing proposals, determining scope of work and developing project plans in response to RFPs. Currently Bill has been working with the Center for Application Innovation Research in Education (CAIRE) evaluating the efforts of the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) in fulfilling the requirements of their grant application with the United States Department Education on the Race to The Top initiative. Bill has also been working closely with the Office of IT Support (OITS) to setup a division wide SharePoint site.

Bill has over 30 years in the Telecommunications Industry with experience in programming, network design and engineering and project management. Prior to coming to RESI team, he worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation managing a team of network and systems engineers in support of the PennDot IT operation. His primary responsibilities were as Senior Project Manager, managing hardware infrastructure and software development with secondary responsibilities as the overall Operations Manager for the Server Farm.

Bill received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania. Additionally he has Associate's Degrees in both Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. He also served on the Dover Township Planning Commission as Secretary a position he held for over ten years, stepping down on December 31, 2011.
