Larry Martin is the Associate Director for Business Analysis and Management within RESI, where he oversees Project Managers, Business Analyst and Research Assistants, since 2001. He serves as the project manager for contracts and grants in Information Technology system development and documentation and project oversight. Additionally, Larry serves as the project manager for the Center for Application and Innovation Research in Education charged with evaluating the implementation of Race to the Top for the State of Maryland.
Larry has more than 30-years-experience in Information Technology including component repair, system design and integration, Quality Assurance and Project Management. He has managed projects through the System Development Life Cycle for private and state agencies and has led teams in the development of proposals, requirements gathering, business process reengineering, system level documentation, design, implementation, integration and deployment. Many of these projects have been to strict standards such as DoD specifications, Federal Acquisition Requirements, Software Engineering Institute, Project Management Institute, ISO9000 and State of Maryland specifications. Larry has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Towson University and has graduate-level work in the field of Information Technology. Larry enjoys camping and golf.
