Jess Lake joined the Division of Innovation and Applied Research in 2012 and is currently an analyst with the Information Technology Services team. She has experience with project planning and management, business process documentation, and performance metrics analysis. Additionally, in working with the Center for Application and Innovation Research in Education (CAIRE) on its evaluation of education reform projects, Jess has planned evaluation projects, conducted qualitative interviews, analyzed school and student data, prepared reports on findings and conclusions, and conducted background research. Finally, she serves as the survey manager for the IT Services team which involves building the online surveys, monitoring distribution, analyzing the final datasets, and preparing reports and presentations for clients.
Jess Lake has a B.A. (with honors) in Sociology from Brown University and has been taking graduate courses at Towson University in statistics and data analytics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, sky diving, and overcoming the challenges of being a left-handed person in a right-handed world.
