Choices for the 21st Century is an education program of the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University. It is dedicated to engaging secondardy level students in international issues. CHOICES provides curricular resources, professional development workshops and special projects that contribute to a renewal of civic engagement among young people in the US.

The American Forum for Global Education is an organization that provides leadership & assistance to school systems, state departments of education, & colleges & universities. The American Forum initiates hundreds of programs & develops educational materials, teacher training seminars & publications to guide & implement these programs. These programs focus on developing global perspecitves in American students. It is the goal of The American Forum that the young people of the United States will achieve an understanding of global issues, of cultural differences & similarities, & of the connections which exist in their daily lives between their actions and those of their country - and others taking place in all parts of the globe, from east to west and north to south. The Human Rights Education program (HRE) was established in order to facilitate the teaching of human rights. The United Nations Cyberschoolbus was created as the online education component of the Global Teaching and Learning Project, whose mission is to promote education about international issues and the United Nations. The Global Teaching and Learning Project produces teaching materials and activities designed for educational use (at primary, intermediate and secondary school levels) and for training teachers. The vision of this Poject is to provide exceptional educational resources (both online and in print) to students growing up in a world undergoing increased globalization. GEEO is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has been created to help and encourage educators to travel abroad in order to bring their experiences back into the classroom and create a more outward-looking next generation of Americans.
