Expenses & Financial Aid

As part of the admission process*, international students are required to provide financial documentation which verifies that they can afford, either individually or through the help of a sponsor, the cost of tuition, fees, and living expenses for their academic programs.

*Students applying for program extensions must also submit current financial documents.

Estimate of Expenses for I-20 Issuance
In order to create I-20s, our office must have proof of financial resources for at least one year of studies at Towson University. The ISSO can accept electronic copies of financial documents; we retain the right to request original financial documents under any and all circumstances..

Making Payments

Pay your bill in smaller, manageable monthly installments (interest-free!) using e-Cashier.

Financial Aid Resources
Funding is quite limited for international students in the United States. However, the following are a list of web sites with information and web-based searches for scholarships and financial aid.  Most were created specifically for international students.  This is not a complete list, so if you discover other helpful sites, please tell an ISSO advisor.
