TOWSON, Md. (April 9, 2008)—The Towson University Executive Club, founded in 2006, recently accepted eight new members:
Sherman Ragland, CEO, Tradewinds International
Leonard Raley, President, University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc.
Thomas Phelan, President, Injured Workers’ Insurance Fund
George Haynes, Chief Information Officer, Northrop Grumman, Technical Services
David Zeitlin, National Director, The Care of Trees
Bradley Callahan, CEO, Travel Advantage Network
Thomas Jaschik, President, BB&T Equipment Finance Corp.
A maximum of 10 new members are selected during each annual application cycle. The club currently has 40 active members and affords members opportunities to network with other successful business and government leaders. It also celebrates the leadership achievements and business successes of Towson graduates. Membership is available to alumni with at least five years experience in an executive level position. "Towson University grads are everywhere," said Scott Hargest, a founding member of the Executive Club and president of Corporate Printing Solutions in Hunt Valley. "The Executive Club is one way that we can highlight how Towson University produces successful graduates."
The Executive Club is operated by its members with support from the university.
