TOWSON, Md. (July 29, 2008)—This July, Towson University played host to the 2008 Maryland Hispanic Youth Symposium (HYS), a nationally recognized college access program sponsored by the Hispanic College Fund (HFC). The symposium addressed the adversity and lack of educational opportunities faced by much of the Hispanic youth today.
Highlights of the program, which brought together over 200 college-bound Hispanic/Latino students, are available in the following video presented by VPC, Inc. and Comcast Red Carpet.
