TOWSON, Md. (April 3, 2006)—Towson University has named Deborah A. Nolan as university librarian. Nolan, who will take her post on Aug. 1, is associate director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Library of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Nolan holds a B.A. in English from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, as well as an M.L.S. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also completing her coursework in the doctoral program in higher education administration at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
Before she took her position at Wake Forest in 1997, Nolan served as director of the Metropolitan Campus Learning Resources Center of Cuyahoga Community College (Cleveland), and College Director for Educational Support Services at Montgomery College in Rockville, Md.
