Towson lacrosse media guides rated among nation's best
TOWSON, Md. (June 2, 2010)—For the second year in a row, the Towson University men’s and women’s lacrosse media guides have been judged among the nation’s best by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The Tiger men’s lacrosse media guide was ranked as the second-best lacrosse media guide by CoSIDA, marking the sixth time in the last ten years that the guide has been honored by the national organization.
Meanwhile, the Towson women’s lacrosse guide rated third in the nation overall and was the top women’s guide in the rankings. It is the second time that the Tiger women’s lacrosse guide has been honored by CoSIDA. It is the second consecutive year the guides have placed second and third, respectively.
The publications were written and edited by Towson Assistant Director of Athletic Media Relations Eric Rhew. They were designed under the supervision of Chris Komisar of the university’s Design Center.
A 2005 Towson graduate, Rhew has been the women’s lacrosse contact at Towson for four years and just completed his third year as the men’s lacrosse contact. He helped to write the first-ever NCAA Statistics Manual for women’s lacrosse and has served as the host media coordinator for the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship for the last three years.
