Media Res: A Digital and Analog Art Exhibition

TU students exhibit photo images in Harbor East Gallery

TOWSON, Md. (Nov. 4, 2010)—Students at Towson University present “Media Res,” a month-long exhibition at the Harbor East Gallery located on the ground floor of the Legg Mason Tower in downtown Baltimore.

The exhibit features still and motion, digital and analog artwork by graduate and advanced undergraduate students majoring in Photo Imaging.

Participating artists include Amira Adolemalu-Bey, Tony Ayigah, Kristina Brown, Nicole Chandler, Collandra Cook, Liz Donadio, Michelle Dunn, Elisabeth Green, Carrie Lorraine, Kendra Harriston, Rachel Hicks, India Jackson, Lauren Johnson, Olivia Mathis, Jennie Parker, Rachel Parker, Amanda Recher, Andres Schoenfeld and Michelle Silberberg.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, Nov. 4, from 4-8 p.m., and is free and open to the public. The exhibit will run until Sunday, Nov. 28, at which point a closing reception will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The gallery is located at 100 International Drive, and open Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday from 4-7 p.m. Works for sale are indicated throughout the exhibition.
