Over the course of three days, six colleges recognized more than 3,000 students during the 147th Commencement at Towson University. The Towson Center hosted the honorees and countless friends and family members from May 23-25.
Towson University held its 146th Commencement on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, where an unprecedented number of students, friends and family members gathered at the Towson Center to see the distribution of over 1,500 degrees.
More than 6,500 Tiger fans turned out for TU's 2010 Homecoming match-up against the Rhode Island Rams. Towson's campus roared with excitement as students, alumni, family and friends joined in the week-long Homecoming bash.
Dr. Jay Nelson and Towson University students got the opportunity to visit the Gulf of Mexico this summer and observe first-hand the scientific efforts to understand the impact of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
