TU research expo to highlight best of student scholarship
Applications for student presentations due March 12
TOWSON, Md. (March 2, 2010)—Towson University students with a savvy for scholarship will have a chance to present their work at TU's sixth annual Student Research and Scholarship Expo. The event, slated for April 21, allows graduate and undergraduate students in all disciplines to showcase the results of their research and other academic work.
Student researchers who wish to participate in this year's expo must submit an application by Friday, March 12. Guidelines for submission, application materials and FAQs are available on the Student Research and Scholarship Expo Web site. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of faculty members.
Projects may cover a wide variety of topics and presentation styles, and may include research conducted as a class requirement or independent study. Past expos have included oral presentations, poster presentations, performances, art exhibitions, technology demonstrations and film screenings.
Presentations from all departments of the university are accepted and encouraged.
