TU student gains national recognition

Senior earns national notoriety blogging about network news

TOWSON, Md. (Nov. 20, 2006)—Towson University senior Brian Stelter (pictured with TU President Caret) has been featured in the The New York Times and The Baltimore Sun.

Stelter, a mass communication major and author of television news industry blog TVNewser, recently spoke with Times writer Julie Bosman about blogging and balance. He also had a chance to speak with Nick Madigan of The Sun regarding TU's award-winning student newspaper, The Towerlight, a publication for which Stelter currently serves as editor in chief.
