TU to offer more than 900 classes, labs, lectures during summer session
TOWSON, Md. (March 4, 2010)—Summer Trimester 2010 takes place from May 24 through July 30, with five-, seven- and 10-week summer session options. This year TU offers more than 900 classes, labs, internships and independent study programs in a variety of scheduling formats and time frames, making Summer Trimester an efficient and cost-effective way to wrap up prerequisites or speed up degree work. Registration is now open.
Many classes that are in high demand and are quick to fill during the fall and spring are offered during Summer Trimester. This year's trimester courses are more convenient than ever, with a number of fully online options. The cost-conscious should note that tuition is capped at 9 units—any units taken beyond 9 are free. Summer Trimester students will have access to all the services offered during the regular academic year, including dining, housing, health services, campus recreation and more.
Several departments are offering prerequisite and required courses in high demand, including:
Education (prerequisites for all six undergraduate degree programs in the College of Education)
Electronic Media and Film (prerequisite courses)
Exercise Science (required courses for the major)
Political Science (required courses for the major )
Occupational Therapy (courses for pre-majors and required courses for the major)
