Students and family members will be escorted to all sessions throughout the day. Life as a Leader at TU (freshman students only will travel to the University Union) University Union, 2nd Floor, Potomac Lounge Students have the opportunity to chat as a group, ask questions about everything Towson, including student involvement, life in our residence halls, athletics, and campus activities. Freshman Parent or Guardian Forum West Village Commons, 4th Floor, Ballrooms A, B & C Family members find out about their student’s first year, advising, orientation, and more. TU students, parents and staff will also answer your questions. |
| 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. | Transferring to TU (For transfer students and family members.) West Village Commons, 2nd Floor Transferring to Towson is a cinch when you have the inside info. Faculty, staff and students will share information about transfer credits, academic advising, off-campus housing and programs, financial aid and college expenses, orientation and more. Our panel of transfer students will answer your questions and give you their take on Tigertown during a personalized transferring student campus tour. |
| 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. | College Information Session Academic and student representatives know the answers when it comes to majors, tracks, double majors, special requirements, interest areas, research projects and academic groups. |
| 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | TU Expo University Union, 2nd Floor, Potomac Lounge This part of the day includes lunch, fun, departmental representatives, student groups, and campus tours! Please take the opportunity to learn about our variety of university departments and student groups, and enjoy lunch before leaving on your tour. Our Honors College students and representatives will be available at all Destination Towson events. |
| 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Campus Tours University Union, 2nd Floor, Potomac Lounge Our student ambassadors are ready to share our campus and their TU experience with you. During our walking tour, you will see, among other things, a residence hall, the “Beach,” dining facilities, Cook Library, and academic buildings. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and depart at the time printed on each ticket. We ask for your patience as tours depart. |
