Your Admissions Counselor: Brian Leak
My own student experiences helped prepare me for my job.
I started in the admissions office as a student worker. Through that experience was able to see firsthand how admissions counselors can help shape the lives of others. I want to have that same impact on students seeking new experiences and a quality education.
The diversity of course offerings here is really impressive.
Towson offers so many different programs that many students add a minor, and others even pursue a double major.
Here's something you may not know about Towson.
There is a beach on campus near the library! It's a great place to meet friends or to relax between classes.
My advice to anyone who's applying.
Make sure you stick to the deadlines. Deadlines could be the difference between being admitted or not admitted—or receiving or not receiving a scholarship. Make sure you supply necessary information as soon as you can.
The coolest thing I've heard someone say about Towson.
A lot of students love the fact that the campus is so close to the mall. Towson is so close to Towson Town Mall, you can walk there faster than you can drive and park.
My "warm and fuzzy" moment.
The CollegeBound Foundation selected me as College Representative of the Year in 2004. This honor is given to the counselor who went above and beyond the norm to help students find their way to colleges across the country.
