On-Campus Resident Students

Freshman on-campus residents (resident students with less than 30 completed units) will be eligible to obtain a limited number of West Village Resident permits. Individuals who are unable to obtain a virtual parking permit and have a vehicle on campus may be subject to parking citations, towing at owners expense and referral to the Office of Student Conduct and Civility Education. If you are planning to live on campus, please visit the Parking and Transportation website (click on Permits) to purchase a virtual permit.

Transfer students with more than 30 completed units) are eligible to obtain a parking permit.  The parking assignment will be based on your housing assignment and the availability of parking space in a particular lot.

Off-Campus/Commuting Students

If you are planning to live off campus, please visit the Parking and Transportation website (click on Permits) to purchase a virtual permit. Review the parking rules and regulations to make sure you understand where your parking areas are located and obtain your permit prior to the first day of classes. Permit sales are expected to begin in early May.

General Parking & Alternative Transportation Information

Additional information about parking rules and regulations, ZipCar rental, Para-transit service, on- and- off-campus shuttle service, saferide services, walking escorts, Mass Transit Administration (MTA), or vehicle registration  is available at the Parking and Transportation Services website.
