Towson Deferred Payment Plan

Towson offers a Deferred Payment Plan which is administered through a third party, Nelnet/e-Cashier. The Deferred Payment Plan extends to students a monthly budget plan for meeting the cost of student service fees and on-campus housing and dining plans each semester through e-Cashier. Some student housing facilities (listed below) are privately operated and rent is not included as part of the university’s semester billing. Rent payments for these facilities are to be paid to the housing facility operator of Millennium Hall, Paca House or Tubman House and cannot be included in the Nelnet/e-Cashier agreement. Students will have the opportunity to set up a deferred payment agreement with Nelnet/e-Cashier through a link located on the Bursar’s website. Nelnet/e-Cashier is not affiliated with the university and does not act as the university’s agent. The university bears no responsibility for the acts or omissions of this partner. Moreover, a student’s liability for university fees and on-campus housing and meals is not discharged until payment is made in full to the university. Additional information regarding the start dates and deadlines for this plan are available online at the Towson Bursar.
