Step 7: Learn About TU Student OrganizationsDeadline: July 1Contact: Towson University - 410-704-3307 |
One of the best ways to experience college life is to get involved. At Towson University, you have countless opportunities to interact with people who have the same interests and passions as you do. You can even try something new!
You can make new friends through Fraternity and Sorority Life, volunteer with the Red Cross Corps, represent your peers as a member of the Student Government Association, play club ice hockey, or learn about another culture in one of our many cultural organizations. It’s all possible at TU with over 200 student organizations on campus.
Even if you’re not ready to join an organization, you’ll have lots to choose from with the variety of activities planned for students each term. Student organizations like the Campus Activities Board (CAB) sponsor numerous cultural, educational and social programs for all Towson students. Check out guest lecturers, comedians, film screenings, coffeehouse events and road trips throughout the year at www.towson.edu/studentactivities/cab.
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 9, and make sure you are on campus for the annual Fall Involvement Fair, taking place from 4 - 6 p.m. on Burdick Field. This is a great opportunity to talk to student organization members, learn about their organizations and find out how you can get involved.
