The information below pertains to students entering fall 2009. Information for students entering fall 2010 will be available during April 2010.
The information below is a summary of estimated expense information for the complete program, however the specific billing information pertains to your CCBC bill only. Please refer to Pay Towson Housing and Student Services Bill link for information about your Towson University bill.
You will receive two bills while participating in the Freshman Transition Program:

Per credit hour tuition charges vary by residency: $95-Baltimore County residents; $183-other Maryland residents; $274-non-Maryland residents. Minimum tuition charges are based on a 12 credit hour schedule. Visit www.ccbcmd.edu for current tuition rates. |

CCBC TuItion Bill
CCBC will mail an invoice to your permanent address in July for your fall 2009 tuition charges. Your fall 2009 bill payment is due on August 3. Your registration will be cancelled if payment is not received by the deadline.
CCBC Tuition and Billing Information
CCBC tuition varies by residency. 2009 rates are:*
- Baltimore County resident students pay $95 per credit
- other Maryland resident students pay $183 per credit
- non-Maryland resident students pay $274 per credit

Additional information pertaining to CCBC 2009 billing and tuition and fee amounts can be found at the CCBC Web site. Please note that CCBC fees are waived for the Towson University Freshman Transition Program students.
CCBC Payment Options
- Cash: The Bursars' Offices on all campuses (Catonsvillle, Dundalk and Essex) are open 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday.
- Check: Please make checks payable to the Community College of Baltimore County and include your CCBC ID number on the front of the check. Mail check and invoice to: CCBC Catonsville, Bursar's Office, 800 S. Rolling Road, Baltimore, MD 21228.
- Online: Log into the SIMON system using your username and password.
- Click on Account Summary Term
- Click on one of the payment options at the bottom of the screen
- Follow instructions for making payment
The site can accommodate full payment and partial payment plans. You may pay online using a credit card (VIsa or Master Card), checking account or savings account.
- Phone: Pay full tuition balance through the automated voice response system at 410-402-0040. Visa and Master Card are accepted. Follow the voice response instructions to make payment.
- Partial Payment Options: Partial payment plans are available through FACTS Management, Inc., and may be initiated online. Additional information may be found on the CCBC Web site.
CCBC Refund Policy
- Courses officially dropped prior to the first day of the term (full term) - 100%
- Courses officially dropped prior to the end of the third week (full term) - 50%
- Courses officially dropped during the first one-fifth (20%) of the session - 50%
(summer, winter, extra session or courses not full term in duration)
In order to ensure accurate and timely processing of refunds, you should verify that your current permanent address is on file in the office of Records and Registration. Financial aid recipients who drop courses may have their financial aid award reduced and may be held responsible for repayment to CCBC.
