Buying a New Computer?
If you are shopping for a computer this summer, see the SCS Computer Buyers’ Guide. This page highlights purchasing considerations specific to students and the campus environment and includes links to the current university-recommended configurations for both WIndows and Macintosh computers. Students are eligible for educational discounts through Towson University purchase agreements with Dell and Apple.

Meeting Your Computing Needs
The university offers several ways for you to stay connected to friends and family while attending Towson University.
After you activate your student account, use it to keep in touch with family, friends, classmates and faculty via Webmail Powered by Google, publish personal Web pages and store files. You can also use this account to access important online services such as course registration and library databases.
