What is the most important thing you’ve learned?
"I found a passion for getting involved and being a leader. I’m treasurer of the SGA and a Student Ambassador. I’m in the Wall $treet Investment Club. I was a Resident Assistant. I studied abroad in Mexico. The good part is self-discovery. The bad part is possibly spreading yourself too thin."
What do you do as the SGA treasurer?
"With my accounting major, working with the SGA fits me perfectly. I manage the budget and allocate money to different sectors. I also consult with student groups about their budgets. Money management is fascinating."

How did you spend spring break?
"I went to Hong Kong with the Wall $treet Investment Club to study the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and visit Hong Kong University. It was a remarkable lifetime experience."
What’s your schedule like?
"Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busy days with office hours at the SGA and classes. Fridays I’m off. Usually I’m in the library on Saturday and Sunday mornings with study groups. I read The Wall Street Journal for hours, evaluating stocks for my Wall $treet meetings on Tuesdays."
What’s the best part of your day?
"My morning workout–it gets me energized. I meet two of my friends every day at Burdick at 7 a.m. We bike, use the Stairmaster, lift weights."
Do you play sports?
"Yes–intramural basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer. I also played Club Rugby. With such a busy schedule I can stay stress-free hanging out with friends and playing sports."
What’s next after college?
"I look forward to graduation every day. I’m definitely prepared. Accounting is a tough major, but it gives me a niche in the job market. I receive accounting job offers almost every week, but I’m hoping to get into wealth management eventually."
