Towson University’s Second Bachelor's Program allows students to pursue new career opportunities or achieve personal goals by completing a second degree in one of more than 60 different majors. Applications are being accepted on a space-available basis. To qualify for admission, students must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. A maximum of 90 transferable credits will be applied toward the second bachelor's degree and the student will not have to complete General Education requirements, except for an upper-level writing course. Second bachelor's students must complete a minimum of 30 units at Towson University and meet all the requirements for the "new" major. The following majors are normally completed through master's or undergraduate certificate programs, not as second bachelor's. Contact the academic department or TU's Graduate School before submitting an application for these programs. Application fees are not refundable.
