The Career Center offers students a variety of career-related programs and
services. Make decisions about your major, assess your skills and interests,
and explore career options with assistance from career counselors and
advisers. The center coordinates internship programs, manages the Hire
TU online job and internship database, publicizes full-time, part-time and
seasonal jobs, and prepares students to effectively market themselves to
employers. Through job and career fairs and our on-campus recruiting
program, the Career Center connects students with employers and organizations

Finding On-Campus Employment
Great part-time employment opportunities are available in a variety of areas,
including academic departments, Student Affairs, Event and Conference
Services, the day care center, etc. Work as a lab assistant in the chemistry
department, a marketing assistant in the athletics department or a cashier in
the University Store. It is important to start your search early as on-campus
jobs fill fast. The best times to search are August for the fall term and
January for the spring term. Local off-campus jobs are also available. Both
on- and off-campus positions are posted on Hire@TU. For more information

Log in to Your Hire@TU Account
By using your Hire@TU account, you’ll be able to post your resume, search
for jobs and internships, participate in on-campus recruiting, view and
register for career events, and more. As a current student you will automatically
be given a Hire@TU account. To log in, please visit the student login page and enter your
Towson University NetID and password. If you do not know your NetID and
or password, please contact the Student Computing Services Desk at
scs@towson.edu or 410-704-5151. Once you have logged in to your Hire@TU account, simply select the “Jobs” tab and start your search. Feel free to
call and make an appointment with the Career enter for additional job
search strategies.
