Finding an On-Campus Job
As a Towson University student, you have access to a diverse range of
on-campus employment opportunities. Work as a peer educator in the
Counseling Center, a lifeguard in Campus Recreation Services, a
Phonathon caller for the Towson Fund, or even a cashier in the
University Store. Start your job search using your Hire@TU account, the
Career Center’s online job and internship database. It is important to
start your search early as on-campus jobs fill fast. The best times to
search are August for the fall term and January for the spring term. You
may also want to expand your options by exploring local, off-campus jobs
in Hire@TU. Both on- and off-campus employers will be at TU to recruit
students at the annual Part-Time and On-Campus Job Fair just prior to
the start of the fall semester. Remember, student employment is more
than the path to a paycheck; it’s a learning experience to help you
become more organized, accept greater job responsibilities, and develop
transferable job skills that you can apply to future career positions.
Please feel free to drop by the Career Center during Express Hours for a
